In order to apply for an Associate Membership you must be 18 years old or more and not have served as a veteran of the ADF, AFP and other agencies that deploy on peacekeeping and peacemaking operations.   So really that means anyone 18 or older who is not a veteran. Associate Members do not have voting rights but may attend general meetings.
